On October 24, 2024, Talent Garden in Milan hosted the second edition of the Italian Digital Procurement Summit (IDP), an event dedicated to exploring the crucial role of procurement in the era of digital transformation and sustainability. Organized by The Procurement Italia, the IDP Summit brought together business leaders, Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs), and innovators to discuss how the procurement sector is evolving to address global challenges.
The role of procurement has changed significantly in recent years. Once focused on compliance, cost control, and limited supplier relationships, it has now become a strategic lever for driving change.
